Whats the worst thing that can happen before u go to bed?

1. To find out that a cockroach is lurking around in your room's bathroom?
2. To injure your gums during brushing because the toothbrush knocked into them; causing an ulcer tomorrow morning.
3. To set the alarm clock for next morning realising that you have less than 4hrs to "rise n shine" or rather "doom n gloom".






OR... to realise that its already morning?!?!

Alright, time for bed. Hafta look good and refreshed with a clear mind for surgeon's meeting tomorrow.

Been quite down on my luck lately, wish me more luck.

Midterm Break + Engin Day + Freeebies Day

One of my EE friend's msn nick was: no day, no nite 3001. 3001 3001 3001 3001 3001
I guess my version can be: whole day, whole nite 3101 3101 3101 3101 3101

Highly possible that 3001 is the module code of the design module that every(?) engine student has to take at one point of his/her life in the engine course.. And I meant it when I say whole day whole nite! (evidence follows...)

The mid-term break began officially for me at Thursday 5pm when I ended my lab. Woohoo! Good news is that it THE MID-TERM BREAK, bad news is that I'll still be running back to school everyday. Owells. Anyway, grp 7 headed back to school yesterday on Engin Day to grab freebies! Erm, I mean, to do project.

Had our butts practically glued to the benches beside Dilly's.. Discussion began at 10am... all the way till 1-ish for lunch which I had takeaway from Olive Cove. Got conned by a dish that looks like potato but its actually fishcake.(ah, sad.)And then at 2pm we went to take the goodie bag for Engin Day. Nothing special inside, only notebooks and post-it notes that will be super useful during the mugging season (which is actually all-sem long -_-)8 of us only sent Huimin and I to take 8 bags la! Super embarrassing...
Anyway.. continued our discussion till 3.30pm when we adjourned to E3A to meet prof Toh for consultation..Somehow..all of us became very enthu and refreshed after the session.. and continued discussing all the way outside LT7a... until 6.30pm.. when we finally feel tired.. Went Olive Cove again.. and bought Peach Crumble, Apple Crumble, Banana Crumble and THE ADDICTIVE KEROPOK. The banana crumble was so nice but sinful... Then at 8.30pm.. we cldnt resist the buffet set up for the seminar going on at LT7a and seeing that we cldnt bear seeing the food go to waste.. Heres what happened..

They even gave us styrofoam boxes to tabao.. -___-







Wa.. couldnt believe we worked on our product for almost 12 hours yesterday! Really glad that we ve brought the product to a higher lvl.. (at least we hope so..) and had a really good laugh when we brainstormed for names for the product. Its been long till I laughed till I teared, till stomachache..
We Will Get There - LONDON! (: Jiayous. Lets hope they din change the venue to Mumbai..(hee..I like the advert.)

Was discussing the different options of getting a cake for Amanda's Bday. Due to location and time constraint, a normal "cream" cake wont work. And !Tada, Famous Amos Cookie Cake! (: Was reminded of a similar cookie cake which hall frens + yix bought during my 19th and thus suggested this.
是甜的lor.. Got abit of sugar high + sleepy phenomenon for the lessons after tt.

The mini mini mini celebration injected a lil fun into the otherwise blue Monday morning..

2 out of 3 tuition kids have commented lately that I am getting cuter and cuter.
and.. Alex! you're guilty of saying that too!..

Good news? NO!
Its either I'm really getting cuter or my face is getting rounder and rounder each time they see me.. more pinch-able more hugg-able. So obviously its the latter.. and I m damn upset.

It doesnt help when I have 5 out of 7 evenings of a week dedicated to tuition. Lazy can? Apparently not. Looks like I have to go jogging before tuition which is at 8pm...++ all the project meetings and lessons end at 4plus or some even 6...HOWHOW.
I have no idea since when tuition has taken over my life, churning it into a mess. Bleah. I dont even have time to revise my school work.

Si liao lor. Cham liao lor.

Meanwhile...I still have to figure out why albumin can be adsorbed onto polystyrene.

words of encouragement.

Driving lesson today was great.. Went onto the roads today and felt a great sense of satisfaction. Experienced the power of words of encouragement today when the instructor was generous with praises throughout the whole session. For every nice bend that I negotiated, for every nice brake that I made and every effort to remember to signal was rewarded well with "good" , "perfect", "nice", "very good".
He was so much better than the 1st instructor who doesnt know how to change tyres.-_-
Heee, 很好玩....Heee... you dont know how many times i literally "yay-ed" in the car today... ( sounds childish, but nvm..)

Dont be a scrooge, start praising someone today! ( of course must be truthful la..)Make their day (:

Finally my free + fine evening came for me to go for a jog. ( not fine = rainy) (not free = tuitions and lab tt stretched all the way to 7pm o_o)
And so I met.....






with 4 big dogs. Unleashed. Looked like those stray dogs which belonged to construction sites. Felt quite dumb to detour and hence I walked past them. I think they ll give chase if I ran.. I was praying hard in my mind: Dont follow me, pls dont, while trying to appear that I wasnt afraid of them at all. Super hengs. Its either I smelt too bad with the sweat or they cant be bothered with the passerby. More likely with the latter, I was real glad that they dint start chasing me!
Such a big sigh of relief. I must have looked super cartoon just now.

Anyway, ask me about my 1st driving lesson. Everyone said I was pro! Haha..so I've got a new nickname called Tyre Puncturer. I must have got a lil traumatised. Had a lil dream during my nap: Somehow I brought a present for my friend, wrapped nicely, to my driving lesson. Dont know why I placed it on the kerb. And then after lesson, the present was crushed. Ahh.
I WILL BE A GOOD DRIVER K, TRUST ME. HURHUR.
More updates about "yuenz the pro driver" after 06/09/07. HAHA.

Oh yah hor...

Apparently I jus placed it at the back of my mind and dint pay much attention to it until my mum just said this to me a while ago:
你还不要睡觉啊， 明天驾车会没有精神

Then I'm like: Oh yah hor...I have my 1st driving lesson tomorrow.
So I am now feeling a little excited yet apprehensive... feeling a little happy yet worried... feeling abit high yet abit lazy... u get the drift la.
but MOST importantly, I am PUZZLED why I booked the lesson at 830am and slightly confirmed that I wasnt at the right state of my mind then.

Island Creamery

So xiao yix and me went to Island Creamery yesterday; xiao wanted to treat us some icecream for her birthday.(: Island Creamery was all the way located at remote Serene Centre at Bukit Timah.. Had a hard time figuring out how to teleport myself from Tampines all the way to Serene Center. Finally decide upon a route to bring myself there (which was a right choice!): 27 from my house to SengKang Mrt. NEL line to Little India. Exit from Exit B and cross to road to take bus 66. Landed myself at NUS Bukit Timah Campus and waited for xiao n yix to come before walking to Serene Centre..
I felt such a great sense of satisfaction when I reached there :D

There were many new and interesting flavours of ice cream over there... Spoilt for choice.I like the APPLE PIE!

All in all was a nice free day from school. Oh yes, my friday is a free day in case u all dont know yet :p

Your plane jus took off 15minutes ago! Its a nice weather today, you should be able to get a nice bird's eye view of the Singapore night sky! When the semester gets too busy over at my side, maybe I will come up with the "cheap thrill" thingy again, wonder if u'll be able to hear it?

090807 hee, the date is so cute.

That National Day was spent outdoors at ECP cycling with the few of them. Couldnt escape the crowd nevertheless, many families pitched tents and were bbq-ing in the afternoon (!?!), enjoying the sun along the very-crowded-and-not-so-clean beach.

Managed to capture some corners of ECP ( at least within the frame) that wasnt flooded with people.
