Weird Referrers
While monitoring my site stats these few days, I discovered weird referrers to my blog. People did searches on Google and was led to my blog. The search keywords include:
- ang mo kio hub ala carte buffet
- tampines1
- earrings heart sensor ( ?? what on earth is this.. )
- the girl who leapt through time movie
Btw, I think blog readership has gone up! (:

我觉得天才庆好像喜欢上了大头芬。
Then, if 天才庆 really likes 大头芬， i think she will become " 头大".

Presents From Hokkaido! (:
My aunt came back from Hokkaido with lotsa presents for my sis and I.
Its not that I am gian(4) peng(3) aka cheapo but I feel very loved whenever I recieve presents (: Moreover, they are good stuff!
Presenting北海道白色恋人巧克力!
My tuition kid once gave me one piece and I fell in love with it! Never to think I will get to eat it again any time soon. Not to mention is a box of 24 and beautifully wrapped. I love Jap-style packaging. Though my dad says its a waste of resources(wrapping paper).
And then..I got a Burberry Blue Label Sling Bag.
Hmm... Its supposed to be expensive but I aint so into branded stuff.. But I like it for its design (: My sis cant understand my liking for this kind of bag.. ( Remember something similar I bought from HK?) Anw.. think this gonna be the most expensive bag I ve ever possessed. Look HERE! I dont understand rich people.

Wake Up
I shouldnt be dwindling time away like its nobody's business.
Just realised I have a lab meeting next wednesday and I'm freeeaking nervous about it. Freeeaking nervous because I'm entirely unprepared.
There are just some people in the world I cant talk to without feeling butterflies in my stomach.
Oh, please get rid of any "tongue-tied-ness" and "fidgeting eyes" on that day.
When that day comes I hope I can be 胸有成竹.
When will I learn to 坦然面对？

The Donut Craze
No, I dint join some queue for hours to get a dozen of donuts. I haven got the patience even IF I have all the time in the world.I wonder why DonutFactory have yet to adopt the practice of distributing queue numbers to customers. ( Perhaps the long queue is a marketing tactic? )I have read blog entries saying how precious the donuts are because they are fruits of labour from long hours of queuing but nobody said they were nice to eat.. But I do say they are really nice to feast your eyes on. Are they nice to eat?
I might try. ( when the craze is over.)
On the way to school that day I saw someone carrying boxes of donuts. From some unheard shop. Here it is: Summer House Donuts Though the donuts dont look as appetising as those from Donut Factory , they look interesting too. The Summer Cream sounds good. (And look! where it is, Ang Mo Kio Hub. I say, a good host of AMK will buy and let his guests try. )
Then again,I'm not surprised if the famous Kripsy Kreme arrives in Singapore. Not
that I'm complaining if I really see a branch here. :D
Ugly
I was on my way for a jog last Friday. Saw an uncle taking 2 dogs for a walk and I saw one of the dogs poopoo-ing on the grass. He dint have a plastic bag/ newspapers with him, unlike what most dog owners would equip themselves with. I slowed down my pace and looked at them. I wanted to see what he would do and he looked at me guiltily. I thought that would do the trick and thus happily went off. But NO!, I smelt0 dog poo on my way back while walking past that patch of grass. Its dinner time and I wonder how the people at 2nd storey are going to have their dinner. I regretted not taking a few minutes of my time to try talk some sense into the uncle.
Was on the way to school that day. A handicapped was travelling alone in her automated wheelchair. I was very amazed by how capable and independent she was and admittedly gave curious looks at her high-tech wheelchair. Then I heard gossips from an auntie sitting opposite me, speculating possible reasons of the lady's disability. I heard words like : "car accident", "wheelchair bound for life" etc. Though it might be human nature to bear such thoughts, I felt that its just basic courtesy to keep this thoughts to yourself, or at least not discuss it so openly.
I'm sure the words went into the lady's ears. I wonder how she felt.
I seem to have alot to comment lately. Luckily working in labs w/o windows hasnt made me an insensitive person. ( i hope.)

New Coat of Paint
A very immature attempt to create a new blog skin. Had trouble with the header, font alignment etc. Sweat!

Journey to the North
About a week ago, explored Novena with Yuxin because I heard about Square2 @ Novena during the exam period. Although there were 3 shopping malls there (Square2, Velocity and United Square), there werent much to see, much to eat or much to buy. Cant even beat Tampines Mall and Century Square. And construction for a new mall Tampines1 is ongoing! I <3 the East! :)
Yuxin introduced me to the Mr Bean Soya Bean Ice Cream and it was an interesting flavour. Not too bad :) But the portion was too big and I couldnt finish it. I laughed at Yuxin's Yami Yoghurt Tropicana ice-cream once I saw it. Couldnt understand why I was so ticklish then. I thought it looked very huge, as compared to my Mr Bean cup. Hence, I laughed very hard and insisted to take a picture of it before she started eating. I was so amused, forgotten to take a pic of mine together for comparison.
Big mah??
Anw, we bought an esprit tee together. It reads: We all scream for ice-cream.
I'm not an ardent fan of ice cream, but I thought it was cute anw. Had to buy something from Novena larh! haha.

Updates.
Suki Sushi Buffet @ Cine1 x potato thingy, 1 x takoyaki, 1 x fried toufu, 1/2 x lobster salad handroll (cos inside of wasabi :( ) , 1 x normal tuna sushi, 1 x crab salad sushi, 1/2 plate X scallop thingy, 2 pcs of cream puff.... was all i ate for my Sukisushi Buffet yday.
Come to think of it, I paid 22 bucks to eat so little stuff wasnt really worth it! 30 mins. Was the shortest sushi buffet I've ever had! Haha.. As compared to Alex who finished 4 plates of salmon sashimi, I really lu-gi le! 4 plates of sashimi = $4.90 x 4 = $19.60, which has almost covered the cost of the buffet. Maybe I should order ala-carte next time.

I am sooo addicted to sprees. Luckily I only buy things online that are cheaper compared to stores. So 5 sprees on hand now is still around 70bucks..( Luckily I still have tuition on hand.. that ll be 2 sessions of tuition~) Cant wait for my items to arrive! I ll be recieving my first spree in a few days time~! Whee. Some excitement for my boring weekdays.
My eyes are still not well yet! Boo.

blink **
My eyes are blinking too much. My left eye is itchy, its reddish and its tearing. I think the degree has gone up. I refuse to accept the fact to visit an optometrist. I shall wait a few days.
If I blinking too much at you, I am not hinting anything, neither am I telling a lie. Its involuntary action.
I want to do LASIK. And then if preliminary examinations show that I'm not suitable for LASIK. 天空塌下来了！I will be so sad.
How am I going to arrive at 5k to finance my driving n LASIK. Sigh.

I just realised that I have lessons during Week Zero aka the O-week of this coming semester.
As this Bioengineering design course (BN3101) is centered on a design project, it is essential that all students be equipped with basic skill in CAD Modeling and Engineering Drawing. To equip you with these necessary skill set, the CAD Modeling and Engineering Drawing lab Sessions will be conducted during the orientation week - week Zero (0).
Dates: 6, 7, 8 & 10 August 2007
Time: 9 am to10 am (Venue to be advised at a later date)
10 am to 1 pm (Venue: PC4 {E2-03-06} and PC5 {E2-03-07})
Maybe I should be optimistic and say that I am lucky enough that they did not decide to build a module based on CAD modelling and Engineering Drawing and attempt to pull anybody's CAP down. I cant do CATwalk, alright maybe I can do CADwork. I think I excelled in isometric drawing during Sec1/2 DnT assignments.HAHA.

Went to Tampines Library after lab yesterday. Decided to waste my MPH $2 voucher, instead of spending an extra 10+ bucks to buy a book. Was browsing through the non-fiction and I saw Toto-Chan! Never expected Toto-chan to be available on the shelves.( Oh, about 1 yr ago, I saw 3 brand new books of Tuesdays With Morrie on the shelves too) Initially thought that TotoChan was a made believe character, quite surprised to find it in the non-fiction area. Borrowed another book 那个称作“它”的小孩, the translated chinese version of The Child Called "It". Have heard my friends talking about it since secondary school but have not managed to get my hands on the original english version, hence the chinese one.
i <3 leisure reading. That day was telling yuxin 我要找有深度的书.. Haha..
I wanna learn something from the books! Haha.

Hows my day?
Finished up all the shows that I've missed and hence recorded due to urop/tuition.
They include 加油！金顺， 娱乐百分百 and some other random stuffs.
Finished watching American Next Top Model Season 7 on Youtube, moved on to cycle 8 to find out that the upload wasnt complete. (&^%&^%^
Packed my wardrobe today. Threw away some clothes that I will nt put on again.
Packed my earrings today. Disinfected them one by one and placed them back into the box. I have a problem with storing my earrings! Girls, how do u store them? Dust free and neat? I have... erhm... alot of earrings. *guilty*
Went for a jog today. Was too bored jogging alone and hence brought my ipod along. S.H.E newest album PLAY is very good for pacing! Because alot of fast fast songs. I find it very leh-chey to hold the ipod in my hands..maybe I should look out for a strap or something specially designed for this purpose.
Btw.. I want to get something from the pc show. But I'm lazy to make my way there alone. I wan a 1gb memory card for my phone. Anybody's going help me buy! Haha.. tough luck :(
