Im holding a piece of goreng pisang in my left hand now.
I used to like these from the Bedok interchange stall. Young memories.
But now,i feel so sinful eating these. My jog on thursday has gone to a waste.
Well well..

Turning a deaf ear to things..
Throughout the years, i have learnt that there are indeed times when things actually get better (or at least u bother yourself with less troubles) when you turn a deaf ear to certain things.
This is NOT escapism.
This is just a way of FACING things that are definitely beyond your control, things that dont go the logical way, things that just happen the way they are and u have not a single idea why...
This is an art to master..
To actually turn a deaf ear to things that happen to pple and things so dear around you.
But.. to turn a deaf ear doesnt mean I dont care.
Ok, perhaps its all pretendence that I dont bother... Ok, i really do care.

Its tiring to think so much. Its tiring.

Reading another ZXX book thesedays.. Things are too idealistic in the book. Its almost impossible to happen in real life. Perhaps its the fun in matching things that happen to me in real life with the plot in her books that keeps me wanting to read on. Its just assurance, perhaps, that you still can find idealities that happens in stories, in our lives.

Perhaps thats why the death of Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire bothered me so much. Seldom do i react so much to a movie. Harry Potter.. Its supposed to be magical.. supposed to be a story of perfection where victory belongs to the good.. Death, spoils the perfect picture..

I'm missing something.
