Some updates...

Had a busy last Saturday. Met the girls at noon for lunch at Kenny Rogers at Marina Square and to buy Yiwei's 21st birthday present. For once I finally thought that the service of KR@ Marina Square improved! Previous dining experiences dealt with slow service for taking orders, serving, billing and my friend once had uncooked chicken wings. Anyway, none of these happened that day and Joycie's Chicken Potpie was HOT and the bread was cripsy. ( Remembered that Kelvin had a potpie that was only warm and not very nice.) I ordered Homestyle Baked Fish which was alright in terms of taste since I was going for the healthier alternative. However, didn quite feel that it was worth its price.

Bought a pair of shades from Aldo Accessories and SHE CD as Yiwei's 21st birthday present and rushed down to Costa Sands Pasir Ris for the party. Couldnt stay long as we had to rush to TJCO concert over at Singapore Concert Hall @ Tanjong Pagar. In fact, we only stayed long enough for 2 games of Bridge. Concert ended at around 10 and we took a cab down to Pasir Ris to makan at the Yiwei's party. By this time I was already nursing a stomachache cos of "over-hungriness" Haha. Thought eating would help but eating aggravated the pain! The food was nice but it would have been nicer if my stomach wasnt throwing tantrums! After a day of rushing, we succumbed to tiredness and Yuxin and I shared a cab back home...

Tired and overspent.

Feasted on Sunday night. Apparently Dad got some extra bonus from his company and treated us to tze char at some part of Bedok that I ve nvr been to before. Haven had dinner with family for a long time outside. I ordered my favourite yam basket, dad ordered his pig trotters, sis ordered her venison meat, mum ordered the kangkong cuttlefish. Satisfied after each of us ordered our favourite dish, we ordered the Chilli Crab! Yumyum. No pics taken before the meal...Haha only leftovers...

After which we went to Sheng Siong supermarket and mum bought some organic healthy rice which looked like this( see below) after cooking ( porridge). Amazingly it turned out quite nice, tasted abit like pulau hitam.

Went to Comfort Driving Centre @ Ubi intending to register for the Basic Theory Test and ended up enrolling in the school, registered for the BTT and a whole lot of other stuffs and paid $475.50. Ouch. Tell me, why does enrolment itself cost $157.50??? Couldnt decide to learn Manual or Auto. 2 replies i got said Manual and i register for Manual. Haha.. dint have too much of a preference.

Anyway, CDC gave a little present for enrolling with the school. An optical mouse shaped as a car. Lol, quite cute larh. Sandip thought someone gave it to me as a birthday present.
