Was very proud of my free Monday morning last week. Went ECP with yix n xiao. Headless yix! Due to the insufficient clearance btwn her bike n mine.

My limbs has got to be more agile than balancing myself on the bike, taking a pic with my right hand, left hand on the bike handle, and legs paddling (: ( I wan to learn zai zai rollerblading!) And the picture is not blurred! Yippees.. n yix was super amazed that I was answering Swe's phonecall while I cycled. Yuenling is not a safe cyclist. Heh.. No law prohibiting this ma..

Holidays Coming to An End!
Holidays are coming to an end and I feel that I haven done anything really exciting this holiday! Nothing exciting really happened, except for every weekday's 黄金路. Hence I shall blog about the most exciting event that took place!
Cameron Highlands!
Show some pics of us (ok la, mainly me.. lol) during the trip.. minusing the photos of all the 花花草草.. Cant really capture the "pretti-ness" of the flowers and magnificence of the hills through the camera lens..
Before boarding the coach at some ulu kopi-tiam opposite Golden Mile.
When we reached the hotel.. we are so high-ed by the scenary outside!
Scrutinising the cactus.. They were very big la! And there were easily hundreds of them! And they realised (and i also realised), I talk to animals and flowers/plants.
"花，你很美lei"... "cactus, 你很大lei"
Too prettty to be real right??? But they are real for goodness sake. I thought I would be brave and step into the "butterfly cage".. And I managed to stay composed at the beginning.. And started to see more n more butterflies.. On the floor, in the air. EVERYWHERE....GOOSEBUMPS.. den I started walking here and there siaming the butterflies on the ground, covering my ears... HAHA.. 失态..And out i went.
Freaky la. I DUN LIKE BUTTERFLIES.
Very hungry waiting for the food to come.......
Bee! these then look like *ahem*
At the rose garden.. the flowers were very pretty!! Too pretty until I 'll talk to them -_-
So cute! Yes, we. :p LOL..
The point is not xl's bag is very big la................
I bet the dunno-wad-brand-green-tea-ad-showing-on-tv-now was shot here! LOOK at the tea plantations. Mr BOH ( ok we found out that theres no such ting called the BOH family) really very rich!!! So many hectares of land la!
Buried by plastic bags! We sort of rented a mini van that comes with a chauffeur cos we booked a day trip! Lazy people but we were happy!!! Very shuang not to carry the purchases around while going around the place. Just dump them in the car :)
Feels really like a agri tour.. (: Butterfly Park. Bee Farm. Rose Garden. Tea Plantation. Strawberry Farm. Cactus Valley. Waterfall (oh! im missing out these photos). Pasar Malam.
Its good to be away from urbanised singapore for a while... for more rural places, more greenery, fresher air, ( ok maybe nt so much abt dirtier toilets).. BUT.. I have been saying this: Any place I ve nvr been to before is definitely worth visiting!
I'm looking forward to more travelling! (:

lalala
The lazy bug in me multiplied exponentially ever since the holidays started. LAZY to blog about the BBQ and so u guys can go BEE's blog to see if y'all interested.
Is it too late to have a NY resolution now?
I must eat an apple a day starting from today.( 1/2 an apple if Im too full)
My immune system is so lousy thesedays. A little itch in the throat manifested into fever, cold, cough. And I thought I can win the battle w/o any medication. -_- Had a sleepness night yesterday and chionged to the doc this morning. Feeling super drowsy whole day. The flu medicine is supposed to be taken every 4.5hours. When the effect of the drowsiness has died down for the previous administration, I'm supposed to take another one. How am I supposed to feel clear headed enough to write my report?
Cough syrup + Flu tablet = Powerful concoction
Anyway.. the flu tablet is not yellow, not white.. its HOT PINK! CHIO! haha..
And cos the viruses are air-borne, I m not supposed to go out and spread my germs to anybody else.. BOO.. Haha my driving instructor is so gg to get my germs tomorrow, better wind down the windows.
Okie I tink i sound so disorganised.

Growls.
I'm feeling perpetually hungry thesedays after I came back from the Thursday BBQ. A few hours after my dinner at 7 and I am hungry now AGAIN! Had lunch at 2pm and my stomach was growling halfway through my driving lesson at 5pm. Being perpetually hungry spells trouble for me!
Anyway... while being hungry.. I have built up a list of cravings...
CHEESECAKE. MCDONALDS SAUSAGE MCMUFFIN. GARDEN HERBS BAKED FISH. QUICHE. SAKAE SUSHI BUFFET. SOME VERY NICE CENTURY EGG PORRIDGE FROM BEDOK 85. PIZZA. MUSHROOM CREPE. BLUEBERRIES IN THE BLACKFOREST CAKE. POPIAH. DIMSUM BUFFET-HAR KAW/SIU MAI/CHAR SHAO BAO.

With every new solution, comes a potential problem
About recording shows...
Video tapes were OUT.
Dvd-RW wasnt working for my family either. Too troublesome. Because we practically record shows on a daily basis i) whenever someone isnt at home ii) someone is busily mugging and hence cant catch her drama iii) Channel U n 8 were showing equally interesting shows.
The problem was solved few years ago when dad bought a new DVD recorder with internal memory. 80GB. More than enough. Then, we were happy for months. No hassle dealing with tapes/disks.
However so, we began asking for more. LOL. Party B started complaining that while Party A is watching shows recorded in the internal memory, Party B isnt able to record shows simultaneously. ( hai, all these wouldnt have happened if the show was recorded on disks. Cld have easily popped it into another player.)
Then when the memory was full, everyone started pointing fingers at somebody elses for not diligently deleting shows that have been watched.
Haha, purchase new solutions for potential problem breeding grounds.
Ya so anyway, Guojun told me about this RecordTV application in FaceBook. Finally, something very useful came out of FaceBook! (Perhaps I was ulu enough to not realise there were, if any, such applications available on net prior to RecordTV.)
I was pretty sure my family would be recording 周日八点党 or 猜猜猜.. So I recorded Channel 5's Stuck on You and Spanglish using RecordTv. Yay! Hmm, I wonder what will potential problems will come out of this new solution I found.
Greedy humans. Insatiable hunger for ease and comfort. Drives technology.

Last Day of 2007
So Alex and I went jogging! After so long we met! This time, finally, not for FOOD! Haha.. Time to move our butts to the tracks!
This girl refused to let me take pictures of her face unless I know photoshop. -_-
So.. she says.. "take pic of our feet to prove tt we went jogging" ... haha
Guess who's whose feet.
And i managed to steal a backview of her...
At the end of the run..by tt time,the place was rather empty liao... we walked 2 rounds round the tracks and were singing like 2 crazy girls! Or rather she was singing, cos I dun know how to sing the songs playing from my ipod.. BUT this girl knows instead.
And so we sat down n chatted until the stadium bells rang ( like those recess bells in pri n sec school) and until the lights went off.
Such a breezy night (:

Aha, I found one new yr resolution.. Fit into the smallest piece of clothes in the wardrobe! HAHA.

Was never a procrastinator. Now a BIG one.
Last Saturday. Oh I must start on my UROP report tomorrow.
Sunday. Oh tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Its the festive season, I shant do it.
Monday. Its Christmas Eve! I should be pacing up and down Orchard Road, not typing n reading reports.
Tuesday. Christmas Christmas! No party also must relax n chill. Report? No-no. Wednesday. Maybe I should start my report. No I din. I ended up watching movies, dramas, documentaries. All but UROP.
Thursday. Of course I m not doing any work today! Its the day journey to the west to the Science Center and followed by my highly anitcipated I am Legend! Friday lah.. friday I should be able to do serious work.
Friday came. Never to expect I ll be out of the house frm 10am all da way to 12midnight. Salon. Driving. 2a. talk. laugh. relax. laugh. ( i told myself, its time to stay at home tomorrow. Do my report and occasionally entertain myself with the not-so-entertaining show repeats on Channel 8)
So today (Saturday) came again. Itchy hand itchy leg me couldnt stay at home for nuts! Went jalan jalan with yx..

I guess you call this a "im feeling a little lost, a little confused, and alot of dunno what and how to do".
Just came back from the play starring ChongQing adapted from Cai Zhi Heng's novel ＜＜第一次亲密接触＞＞．Did alittle research before I headed over to Sistic counter to book my tickets and parted with my $$. Versions of the novel were available online but I refrained myself from reading them! Wanted to be introduced to the plot first-hand from ChongQing's protrayal as 痞子蔡 in ＜＜第一次亲密接触＞＞.
＜＜第一次亲密接触＞＞ is a 独角戏，meaning ChongQing will be the only actor on stage. He did a good job engaging the audience, amazing and entertaining the audience for approx 2hours. Imagine the hard work he has to put in just to memorise all the lines and assume roles of different characters. And we say talking to people is hard, I think talking to thin air as though theres someone there is even harder.
The plot was a simple one. Alittle too simple and stereotypical.
Boy meets girl online, grow to like to each other, boy n girl goes on a date, share some romantic moments, girl leaves boy due to terminal dieases, boy chases after girl, girl dies, boy sad.
Just finished reading the actual online novel. Realised that ChongQing, or either the playwright, did a good job in adding elements of humour ( ok that includes dirty jokes and daily singlish like "giam siap" and "tiao gang"), hence better engaging the audience. The original novel was somewhat boring, perhaps cos it was written more than 10 years ago by a Taiwanese author. Places like 阳明山 was replaced by Serene Center MacDonalds' etc.
Lastly, what drew me to this play was this: (taken from Peifen's Blog)
如果你曾经因为爱一个人而
1）失眠
2）傻笑
3）掉眼泪
4）打扮
5）等待
那你一定会被这出舞台剧感动。

I dislike that kind of feeling am feeling right now.
After watching this play is like after watching Grey's Anatomy. Its not like what happened to the story have exactly happened to u in real life. But it just....
Leaves u pondering, sometimes disturbed, uneasy. Its like bringing up threads of thoughts that otherwise haven been buried, (almost) forgotten.
But Im glad I have watched it.
